Opening Night at the Stirring In Ridgway, PA

The Stirring, August 3rd-5th 2007

The mission of this youth event is to create a context in which teens can tangibly encounter the Lord.  The event itself is being held from August 3-5th in a downtown Ridgway Fireman's lot.  Friday and Sunday nights are more evangelistic in nature.  We are having bands come in, serving food, doing miracles and that sort of thing in downtown Ridgway. 

 

Saturday we are having a 5 hour Joel 2 Solemn Assembly.  We are calling youth and adults to a water fast while we worship and intercede for breakthrough.  Some of my kids want to do 3-days of water fasting instead of a one day fast!  Various denominations are coming together to seek spiritual breakthrough in our region.  Different local ministers and ministers from my college days are coming to help.  I am longing for the glory of God to visit us during that weekend so as to launch a youth revolution of righteousness, love and truth!
